Orange Cotton Neckerchiefs - These four orange cotton neckerchiefs are from the early to mid 1960’s. They were re-ordered a few times and used for several summers. What is probably the first issue of this neckerchief has a smaller bear, and larger B.S.A. letters. One of the neckerchiefs on the bottom says STAFF. (During this time there were also the embroidered “dress” staff neckerchiefs.) The other two orange neckerchiefs shown here are similar to each other, but one of the bears is darker than the other, and the thread color on the border of the neckerchiefs is different. |

Classic Design Neckerchiefs - This is the classic design of the Wolverton neckerchief. Hundreds and hundreds of them were made and issued in the mid to late 1960’s. These neckerchiefs were re-ordered several times, and the bears are slightly different as a result. In the first major grouping of this design, note that the bear is only black and has no brown. In the two neckerchiefs shown here, the bear is the lighter black variety. |
